As a motivated, 48-year-old businessman, I desire to bring a new life and energy to McCracken County. Through my years of experience in business development, I have only strengthened my desire to invigorate a better life for the people around me. I am passionate about revitalizing our quality of life in McCracken County and have already taken some of the necessary steps to bring about this revitalization.
Our quality of life here in McCracken County can improve if we secure and expand growth in our industrial business sectors. I plan on cultivating growth in our existing businesses by offering incentives for them to bring on more jobs, thereby helping them thrive. To expand our growth, I plan to seek out new industries to bring into McCracken County.
I also believe that in order to improve our quality of life in McCracken that we need to sharpen our focus on economic development. The sports complex is a key factor in being able to do this. I have had the pleasure of experiencing some of the greatest sports facilities our country has to offer. If built and managed properly, this can be a very advantageous move for our county, just as it is for many other counties across the United States.
Without safety, we cannot have a desirable quality of life here in McCracken County. I am pro-law and order and have taken the liberty of discussing changes that need to be made with McCracken's Sheriff department and Jailer. I am already working on a plan to increase the jail's revenue in order to bring on more deputies as the Sheriff's department is understaffed.
Through cultivating growth and generating economic development, my goal is to reduce tax obligations. If we increase McCracken County's revenue through rejuvenation of business and economic development of not only our local businesses, but businesses coming in from out of town.
In order to improve our quality of life here in McCracken County, I need to hear from the life of our county, YOU. I would like to create a time for collaboration and to hear the ideas, concerns, and voices of McCracken County residents. I am an approachable person who wants to make changes, but in order to do that, I need to hear your wants and needs!
McCracken County has not seen a population increase in 30 years. There are reasons why our young adults are relocating and planting their feet elsewhere. They have an abundance of talents and skills to offer, but we have nothing for them to exercise their valuable attributes.
I am running because McCracken County needs a new direction. We need new energy for businesses and families. We are behind our surrounding cities in growth and this lifelessness cannot continue any longer. I stand for growth and I am motivated to make positive changes in our county.
I humbly ask for your vote and financial support in our upcoming election. NOW is the time for McCracken County to shift our focus into a new, positive direction!
